Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Lisa Bursett is a second generation family optometrist, continuing the legacy her parents began in 1961. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon, receiving honors in clinical practice. As a solo practitioner, Dr. Bursett is uniquely able to build and maintain long-term relationships with her patients. Every patient spends their entire appointment in her care. She prides herself in a gentle bedside manner, and the ability to explain medical conditions in simple terms that patients can understand. Creating comfortable, spot-on eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions is one of her favorite parts of practice.
A Seattle native, Dr. Bursett loves being at home with her two daughters and husband, who is also a practicing optometrist in the Seattle area.
Andrea Creitz, LDO
Licensed Dispensing Optician
Andrea Creitz is a licensed optician with decades of experience in the optical industry. Arguably one of the most talented opticians in Seattle, Andrea has brought her best to Bursett Optometry for more than twenty years. Some of her superstar skills include selecting appropriate frames, lenses and coatings for every patient’s unique facial features and prescriptions. Her dispensing process includes meticulous adjustments to create properly fitting and comfortable frames. This is where experience counts. If you’ve ever had a poor fitting pair of glasses, you’ll agree this is an art form. Educated at the University of Washington and Seattle Central College, Andrea also manages the practice and has expertise in insurance billing.
Aside from her professional life, Andrea is passionate about contemporary home design and running. Andrea and her husband are doting parents to their Labrador retriever.
